Inside the heart of every girl is the desire to be loved, pursued, and romanced. Since I was a child I have dreamed of my wedding day, imagining the white lace dress, pink flowers, and a handsome man waiting for me as I slowly made my way down the center aisle of my church. This is the picture most young girls dream up.
In this dream of the perfect wedding day, one thing that we would not want to see is a slew of men from past relationships staring you down from every end seat as you walk down the aisle. Walking past each man, they reach out and rub a nasty black dirt on your white dress. By the time you reach your fiance there is but a trace of white left. There are stains all over from your past relationships. You are left feeling used, dirty, and not enough for the man your are to marry.
This is the haunting truth of what could happen inside of you, inside your heart, when you give in to the wrong person. Through this blog we want to help you as you pursue purity, wholeness, and essentially an unstained love.

I love the whole chapter..."If I could speak in any language in heaven or on earth but don't have 'Love' then it would be like making meaningless noise like a loud gong or clanging cymbal..." If you replace the word 'love' with 'God'...it is beautiful...If I gave everything to the poor and even sacrificed my body and have not 'God'; it is truly meaningless...I love this pondering..thank you for the reminder!
